WHAT WE DO
We are culture-makers, educators, and keynote speakers redefining workplace norms - from FIFO to hospitality and beyond.
Building Respectful Culture Where It Counts Most.
We specialise in delivering high-impact workplace education across FIFO, executive, and hospitality sectors - industries where culture change isn’t just important, it’s urgent.
Our workplace training programs are grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices and built using cooperative learning techniques that actually stick. These aren’t boring compliance sessions - they’re honest, hands-on, and tailored to your unique workplace culture.
Our core training includes:
A 1.5-hour educational session introducing key concepts in respectful workplace culture, consent, boundaries and the gendered drivers of harm
Practical, real-world tools for recognising and responding to inappropriate behaviours
Clear pathways for reporting and support, helping you create a safer, more accountable workplace
Ongoing quarterly workshops (1–1.5 hours) that dive deeper into key topics like bystander intervention, inclusivity, and handling sexual harassment complaints
An annual refresher (2–3 hours) that keeps your workforce engaged, informed, and aligned with best practice
These sessions are conversational, interactive, and never lecture-heavy.
Let’s not just train your team. Let’s shift your culture.

Seminars
Evidence-Based, Trauma-Informed, and Always Real.
Our seminars are ideal for teams, leaders, and community groups who want to go beyond the surface and understand the why behind behaviours.
Perfect for internal events, leadership off-sites, or organisation-wide initiatives, these 60–90-minute sessions bring together the latest research, real-world stories, and trauma-informed education to help participants reflect, learn, and grow.
Whether you’re managing a FIFO site, a busy venue, or a boardroom - our seminars get people talking.
They’re honest, interactive, and solution-focused, designed to move your people from awareness to action.
Speaking events
Raw. Real. Relatable. And Seriously Impactful.
Looking for a keynote that lands? You found it.
We deliver powerful, engaging, no-fluff keynote presentations that unpack the hard stuff - like consent, respect, culture, and gendered harm - in a way that’s not only digestible, but genuinely inspiring.
Backed by over 16 years of combined experience, we’ve spoken to crowds of thousands across Australia - at music festivals, universities, corporate events, FIFO leadership summits, and national conferences. And we always leave the audience thinking, laughing, and most importantly - ready to act.
Kate Raston and Nicolette Beard bring lived experience, professional expertise, and magnetic energy to every stage they step on. Whether you're after an opener that sets the tone or a closing talk that ignites action - we’ll bring the spark your event needs.
WHO ARE WE
The duo behind the movement. The minds shaping culture. The voices calling BS on outdated systems.
We’re Kate and Nicolette - qualified health promotion specialists, sexologist and educator. We are the co-founders of We Are W/M, a charity and national movement delivering evidence-based education on consent and respectful relationships with young people.
We met through our work in health promotion and quickly bonded over our frustration with how often conversations around sex, consent, and respect were either swept under the rug - or delivered in the driest way possible. So we created something better.

At the core of everything we do is the belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for preventing violence. We don’t lecture. We don’t sugar-coat. We create conversations. We challenge norms. We show up where it matters - especially in male-dominated industries like FIFO, hospitality, and trades, where these conversations are long overdue.
We believe in:
Sex positivity
Human rights
Peer-to-peer learning
Harm minimisation
Cooperative, honest conversations
We’re not just here to shift perspectives. We’re here to reshape culture.
