Building safer, stronger, and more inclusive workplaces.
WE ARE CONSULTING IS An award-winning PROVIDER OF RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS CONSULTING and training.
We’re a values-led, evidence-based, trauma-informed consultancy based in Western Australia.
We are dedicated to promoting gender equality, reducing sexual harassment and building a fairer and safer work environment.
We help organisations move beyond compliance - creating cultures of respect, wellbeing, and inclusion where every person feels safe to show up, speak up, and thrive.
From FIFO sites to executive settings, we design and deliver training that makes a measurable impact on culture, leadership, and psychological safety.
WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT
At We Are Consulting, our business model is simple: evidence-based, trauma-informed, bespoke, and no BS.
We don’t deal in fluff or corporate jargon. Everything we deliver - from strategic advice to frontline education - is grounded in current research, co-designed with those it impacts, and tailored to the unique needs of each organisation.
Our approach is personal, adaptable, and grounded in lived experience. Being local means we can respond quickly, connect deeply, and tailor every program to your workforce
We don’t deliver tick-box training. We create lasting cultural change through authentic conversations, evidence-based content, and psychologically safe learning spaces. Our work is direct, practical, and designed to shift behaviour.
Whether we're working with executives, FIFO teams or finance bros - we bring nuance, care, and clarity to some of the most difficult but necessary conversations.
the current landscape
Workplace culture is changing - and responsibility is shifting.
Recent legislative reforms have transformed how organisations must manage sexual harassment and psychosocial risks. Employers now carry a positive duty to take proactive, reasonable steps to eliminate unlawful conduct and foster safe, respectful workplaces.
Sexual harassment is now recognised as a psychosocial hazard, requiring prevention-focused measures, not just reactive policies. It’s no longer enough to respond to incidents; leaders must actively build cultures of safety and respect.
We help organisations meet these evolving expectations by aligning strategy, leadership, and behaviour - ensuring compliance while driving genuine change.
We Are Kate Raston and Nicolette Beard - health promotion specialists, a qualified sexologist and educator, and the co-founders of We Are.
We Are consultants and educators shifting culture through evidence-based education, strategy, and media that empowers people to think differently about sex, consent, respect, gender and relationships.
We are also the co-founders and executive directors of the nationally recognised charity We Are W/M, a movement creating systemic change in gender equity and respectful relationships education for young people.
We first met through our work in health promotion and quickly bonded over the same frustration: the way conversations about sex, consent and gender are either swept under the rug or delivered with shame and outdated language. So we built something better - something bold, inclusive and unapologetically honest.
